Seriously, just what is "delayed write failed"? Someone please rep

I keep getting "delayed write failed" when downloading and copying files.
the error message happens even though said files play/open just fine when
they're done being downloaded and or copied. Just what is "delayed write
failed," why do I keep getting that annoying message and how do I prevent it

Or a bad disk problem on your system. Have a look at your eventlog. Do you
see lots of Red Disk errors? A sure sign that something is NQR.
