Serious Error Message

An error message appears frequently on my desktop.

It says that 'Windows has recovered from a serious
error', and is denoted by the error code below.

BCP4 : 00000000
OSVer : 5_1_2600
SP : 0_0
Product : 768_1

This started after i had installed a program - 'Sims
Golf', and then deleted some superfluous programs
carefully - ensuring no vital ones were erased.

PLEASE give me some suggestions to

Suggest you reinstall Sims Golf and uninstall it in

Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs. Maybe this will
put some of the missing files back in place, short of
reinstalling all of WinXP. Deleting "superfluous" files
is a redundant statement. What may be superfluous to
your may NOT be to your PC, remember that!
