No one can really answer that for you. We don't even know what you have
installed on your computer, how can we suggest things to remove! It is
up to you to decide what it is that you find useful and want to use and
what it is that you deem as useless. You may have software on your
computer that I or someone else thinks is absolutely useless but you on
the other hand may just love the program and use it every day, we can't
tell you what to do.

Research the installed programs on the internet, you will find lots of
information as to what purpose the programs serve and comments from
users as to the usefulness or need for the programs. After doing your
research if you are still unsure about certain items then you can post
back here giving us the name of the program in question and we may be
able to offer more in depth advice.

Hi,

Have you tried running Disk Cleanup? Start / Run / cleanmgr

CreateWindow

The FREE Web page utility you always wanted.
Keep your router connected.
Email your IP to where you need it.
Monitor your enterprise Web Servers.

PS: Good places to find useful information:

Using your Task Manager you will be able to identify most of your

are unsure about!

Beside all the good advice you got, you only need those
Applications/Programs on any computer if you don't care about the reset:

1- Windows XP Office
2- Windows Media Player
3- The Graphics Card Driver for your Mobo
4- An Anti-Virus if you have one
5- An Anti-Malware if you installed one
6- IE? 6 or 7
7- Flash layer from Macromedia
8- Network adapter
9- Any Wireless you may have on your computer keep
10- Any Active monitor Software that tell you about your PC Temperature
11- Sound
12- MSXML 4.0
13- Windows Installer
14- Windows XP Service Pack 2

My guess you have the Show all Updates and this why you think you have a lot
on your Computer, the one looks like this:
Security Updates

It depend on your Machine make, you are the only one can decide or you can
pay a visit to the Machine manufacture and see what software should or
shouldn't or came with the machine or the one installed by you or somebody
else in the house.
HTH.
