Serial ATA

i have a Vantec Serial ATA PCI card and a Maxtor 300 GB HDD as a secondary
drive. they are visible in the device manager and show up at boot, but the
HDD will not show up in "my computer" can anyone tell me how to get it to
show up please?
 
Did you partition and/or format the drive and/or assign it a drive letter?

Disk Management = Start > Run > diskmgmt.msc
