Hello,
Myself Mukesh Kumar, I am using MS Excel 2003. My question is that
I want value in the format which I want. Just like this 12,45,36,789 but MS
Excel provide separator after every thousand value. If there is any solution
of this problem than tell me on my e-mail address

Type the number 124536789 in a cell and do right click and select Format
Cells>>Number>>Category>>Custom>>Type>> (paste this format)
##\,##\,##\,##0>>Hit Ok…

If you want to show the 2 decimal places, then add .00 on it…
##\,##\,##\,##0.00

If this post helps, Click Yes!

In 2003. Easiest way is to select cells; click on Format on the MENU BAR >
Cell > Number tab > uncheck the '1,000 separator' box > OK
