Separator Lines

In my first Post, I wrote the following:

I use both WIN XP Home and Pro, and I have around 240
programs, not including all the associated links and
programs that go with those programs. I notice in
the "Start" and "Start/All Programs/" menus there are
separator lines (such as the small line directly above
the "All Programs") to help categorize your programs. I
would like to know how to add more lines, so I can
separate my "Start/All Programs" menu into different
categories, making it easier to find office, photo
editing, games, and other program groups.

I then Received a reply telling me how to create a new
Folder. (Why?) I also received:

divides the "All Users"
programs list from the Programs list specific to the
current user.

I dont beleive this is true due to the fact that someone
put those lines there, therefore common logic tells me
that if they can add lines, so can I. All I wanted was to
partition my "Start/ All Programs" menu with lines. I
know how to add a folder and fill it with sub folders,
thats too easy, and not the fix I was looking for. Does
anybody have any ideas? I'm greatful for any assistance.

Technically yes. You would at first have to find out where and how
Microsoft added this to the Windows code. If this is done, get their
permission to alter the (copyrighted) code to add more lines.
Or simply split the Start Menu into different submenus.

If you would read _*ALL OF THE WORDS*_ that I
wrote, "common logic tells me that" you would see that I
did _*NOT*_ tell you "how to create a new Folder".

I described a simple method whereby you could achieve
your stated objective, namely, to "separate ... "Start/All
Programs" menu into different categories".

I apologise, I did not mean to be rude, nor was my
statement meant as an insult. I simply new how to do as
you suggested, yet that method was not what I was looking
for. I was willing to re-write the code if I had to to
get what I needed. Second, I was too busy at the time to
reply. I intended to wait until I was satisfied with the
results of my inquiry, then compose a general statement
of "thanks for your time and assistance" to be copied and
pasted into every reply with a personal note regarding
each individual reply. (why) was not meant to offend,
simply a question. I am greatfull for your time ans

desktops, my video card has to offer for right now.
