I have just set up MS Windows XP Home version on my family PC with 3 separate users and we have 3 separate aliases on an email account at our ISP. I am using MS Outlook 2003. How do I make sure that incoming email is separated between the users? At present all incoming email - whoever it is addressed to(!)- goes into the Inbox of the first user who goes into Outlook to receive mail. This seems to be such a simple and common requirement but I haven't found the answer yet. Can anyone help please?

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER----

I too had this identical problem and I couldn't find the answer anywhere,
quite frankly everyone kept telling me it couldn't be done, but after a lot
of clicking, this is what I did. I have Outlook 2002, however I believe it
won't be that different in OL2003.

Go to >TOOLS > OPTIONS
Click on the tab MAIL SETUP
The second section down is SEND/RECEIVE, Click on the Send/Receive button
In the window that pops up you are about to tell Outllook, what email it
should retrieve for the profile you are presently signed into.

Click on EDIT

If you see the other profiles listed on the LEFT, click on each of the OTHER
profiles you are NOT presently signed onto, then UNCLICK the box at the top
which says "Include this account in send/receive group.

((((( NOTE: Sometimes, there will only be an icon for the present profile
listed on the left. Don't worry, just make certain that the circle at the
top IS clicked. ))))

So if you have a profiles named: angel22, bear33, dog44 and cat55. You
open OL in profile angel22. When you complete the steps above, you want
ONLY angel22, to be included in the group from send/receive. You will have
to do this on EACH profile.

This helped me solve this problem, and if I have not been clear, write back
and I will attempt to clear it up.

Take care--
