If the mail shows in your "Send items" folder then it went out to the Internet.
If your recipients do not get the mail, and you don't get a bounce back with a delivery error,
then the problem is at the other end, not in your computer.

What happens when you send your self a test message?

You might make your own address in either the CC or BCC (preferred) when you send out messages.
Then when you get a copy back you know the outward system is working.

THX Richard. The problem has changed. I finally got a reply from one
recipient so that part is working. However, I do not get the test mail I send
to myself or to my wife's address on her networked computer. The one reply I
got was from a bellsouth.net domain so that is not the problem.

Just cannot mail to my two network computers though I have gotten several
emails
from others.--

Which provider? Gmail does not return test emails sent to yourself.
Also, check the webmail portal for that account. Is the test email there?
