SENT ITEMS FOLDER DELETED WHERE HAS IT GONE?

I was organizing my Deleted items into seperate folders, finished with that
and went into Sent items to do the same and the Sent folder was empty!
Does anyone know where it might be?

First of, the deleted folder is not the place to store msgs
If you recall a msg that was in your sent folder, search for it, see if
anything comes up showing the location
