My sent items fold is empty, where did they go?

Email subject field

I had hundreds of items in my sent folder, but as I logged onto Outlook this
am, they are all gone? Do you know where they would have gone? They went
back as far as 2006? Why would they disappear today?

Check your view of the folder, is it filtered? View > Current View >
Messages is what should be checked.

It may be just the view is filtered

Look on the bottom left of your screen for "filtered"
