sent items "disappeared"!

Yesterday 2 weeks worth of recent sent items disappeared. About 3 weeks ago
I lost 1 months worth. Can anyone tell me whats going on or how to fix this
problem????? I think it possibly has something to do with compacting but I
dont know. Any help is appreciated!
 
Compacting doesn't have to do anything to do with it. Could it be that you
have AutoArchive enabled?
