I had an issue with my pst file, it was corrupted when my computer lost it's
power all of a sudden. I was able to create a new one & import the files (a
reason why I did this) & such after getting the errors fixed (using inbox
repair tool). But now when I do a search in the sent folder, it doesn't show
up any of the older emails that were sent before the crash, even though they
are still in the sent folder.

Is there some way to have the folder reindex so it will find all the emails
that are still in there?

Thanks
Curtis

Its not clear to me whether you ran the repair utility prior to the import?
Do you have the origonal corrupt pst?

I was able to get the corrupted pst file fixed using an older version of
office (2002). I then created a new pst & imported the files from the newly
fixed & repaired pst. I wanted to start clean & fresh (it had recovered my
inbox, but named it something else & I couldn't rename it to inbox - the
reason for creating a new one instead of using the repaired pst).

I'm using the rebuilding tool under control panel, index options & I think
that will work.
