Sending with attachment!

Hi there!

Emails with some, only some attachments, are creating big problems when I am
forwarding them to friends and family. They repeat and repeat sending, and my
sister got over 1500 of the same email.
I have Trend Micro Antivirus, and all emails are scanned when received and
sending.

I found out that the emails are stuck in outbox, and beeing sent and resent
until I delete them myself.

Any suggestions to this problems my dear friends?

how large are the attachments? If too large, they could time out in outlook
before trend finishes scanning so outlook doesn't realize they were sent.

OK, sounds plausible.

The attachment I last had a problem with was 1080k in size.

hi there, did that advice work? i also run trend pc and the same thing was
happening to me but i didnt realise that the emails were going through but
outlook wasnt saying that. so i unticked the "scan out going mail" and it
appears to have worked, so far at least. but i havent tried attatchments over
1-2mb yet only 700-900kb with no probs.

I have had the same problem, am also using Trend Micro. My colleague received
over 450 copies of a file with a 2MB attachment!! My ISP says its not a
virus. Will try your suggestion to turn off scanning of outgoing mail by
PC-Cillin and see what happens.
