The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'hi ', Account:
'windows mail ', Server: 'smtp.charter.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response:
'550 you are not allowed to send mail to <[email protected]>', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

I went to the email troubleshoot, all the connections are good, sending and
receiving. I receive email ok, just can't send anything.

Nora, when that error occurred, were you sending from home, or on a laptop
away from home?

"rd", are you the same individual as Nora who started this thread?
If not, submit your complete error message, like Nora did.

fishjunkie, I don't know why you are quoting Nora's post (which
I deleted), since your issue is obviously different.

As for the error message you supplied, I don't recognize that
as being a Windows Mail error message. Did you leave something
out, or are you using a different email program?
