sending problem

Using Outlook 2003. When I click a link on a web page such as "contact
us", my Outlook composing window opens, already addressed, not the
entire program. I compose the message I want to send and then click on
send. What happens is the message is not sent. I have to open the
Outlook program and the message remains in the Outbox of the program
and I have to send it from there. Any fix for this so the message is
sent initially when I compose it?

TIA for any replies!

Default behavior, can only be overcome, as far as I'm aware, by having OL
running in the background. ie minimised.

I was having a similar problem until I went to
microsoft.com and downloaded the current Office update,
hope this helps!
