sending picture attachments with emails

I am having trouble downsizing my pictures to send with emails. was no
problem with XP, just sent an email from my pics,and always checked the
"make my pictures smaller" box. Now when I downsize the pics, they are
revert back to "huge" when they attach to the email. Does anyone know how
to do this? I just got my Vista yesterday.

How are you downsizing & sending them now?

If you open Windows Photo Gallery, highlight the picture, click on "E-mail"
on the toolbar, it will offer you the chance to downsize, and attach it to
an email.
