sending photos ????

I have win XP that came installed on my PC. Why can't I
send pics to peaple that don't have XP ? They go thru fine
to peaple with XP. Most of my family & friends don't have
XP. I'm thinking about taking it out & put win 98 in. I
need help before I make this decision.

I have XP & the only peaple that receive my photos have to
have XP or it turns into pc language.When I had 98 I never
had this problem. I think I hate XP because of little
stuff like this.

Could be some of the folks you send the images to have their security setup so they
cannot open attachments. If your friends have dial-up connections, they could time
out if the attachments are very large. I send attachments to people who do not have
XP without any problems. What do you mean by PC language?
