We're finding that on our desktops, running Windows XP SP1 and all hotfixes
to date, that using IE6 SP1, when you choose to "send page" from the
toolbar Outlook fires up, you send the message, and when the message window
closes (either from it having been sent, or from being cancelled) IE hangs
and the process has to be killed using Task Manager.
Outlook XP (10.2627.2625)
IE 6 sp2 (6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1.020828-1920)
Windows XP SP1
Outlook is set as the default mailer on IE's "Programs" tab, changing it to
use Outlook Express seems to work.
I'll be doing some propper digging later, but from looking at google no-one
seems to have this problem, which I find a little strange as I don't
believe our PCs are anything out of the ordinary.
TIA for any suggestions.
