sending movie to DV camera

When I try to send movie from MM2 to Sony DV camera, I get red and green
vertical lines and small blocks (usually about 5-6) of actual video on the
playback (and while recording). I sent movie to CD-R and it worked fine.
Using firewire connection. Same problem also occured when using the Sony
Movie software.

1st time trying to do this, for school project and deadline is nearing. Help?

It could be lack of resources. What are the pc specs?
You could also try to make an avi file first if there are lots of
transitions etc in the movie and then try to send this to the cam and also
try windv which is just a capture/export app and having a larger buffer
tends to work when MM doesn't.
