Haven't worked in a bit but when I was at the bank and GE
capital I was able to right click on (one of) the mail
servers and send popup messages to other people logged in.
Can I send similar msgs to the other 2 computers on my
home network?

If they are all XP, look up "net send" in XP's Help & Support.

Greetings Paul,

Net send is a way you can send one way messages if you are intersted. To use
net send make sure the Messenger service is started in the Services. It's
disabled by default in SP2. To start the service, click Start - Run -
services.msc. To send a message, use the following syntax at the command
prompt window:

net send <ip address> This is how it works

You might want to try something like LanTalk XP.

I did an F1 from my desktop (I assume this is correct
place to do my search?) It only came up with on
suggestion: Pick a task
Send a file to a Web Server that uses Web Folders

Did I look in the wrong place?

Is there a limit of characters? It cut off after just a little bit.

Thanks, Paul
