Sending Mail using SMTP via Exchange Server - Need Help!!!!!

Guest

We have recently installed Windows Small Business Server in our company and
we are beginning to investigate using Microsoft Exchange. We have set up a
couple of test accounts and we can receive mail fine by using the POP3
connector in Exchange Server Management but we have been unable to send any
mail at all. I have written several test email to send in the test accounts
and after spending a few seconds in the outbox they appear in the sent items
folder but are never actually received. This morning I received a Delivery
Status Notification for each of the sent emails saying that delivery has been
delayed but that theres no need to resend. What the heck is going on? and how
do I set up SMTP for Exchange Server?

Cheers,

Andy

Try asking on the microsoft.public.exchange.admin group or one of the SBS forums. This isn't an Outlook issue.
