I have a new PC and have installed MS Office 2000 (from an existing, self
purchased disk) and want to use Outlook as my e-mail message compiler,
receiver & transmitter, rather than Outlook Express which, I think, has some
unsatisfactory limitations.
I have configured the application with the service provides details and have
successfully received and compiled e-mails, but cannot send new or replies.
When I select Send or Send/Receive the only task that appears, in the
dialogue box, is "checking for mail on" but no "sending mail", which used to
appear in my old Outlook Express dialogue box.
