Sending e-mail as proxy for someone else, but NOT with "on behalf

A secretary has full proxy rights for the inbox of an attorney. She wants to
send an email for the attorney AS IF SHE IS the attorney, from the attorney.
She clicks the attorney's Inbox, setup in her mail folder. Then, when she
clicks new mail, it opens up a new e-mail window with HER OWN
autosignature...in other words, the new e-mail is coming from her own
mailbox, NOT the attorney's mailbox.

GroupWise allows this functionality. Is there a way to do this in Outlook??

Thanks for all help sent my way!!

First you have to make sure she has "Send as" rights on the user's mailbox.
Open ADUC on a computer with Exchange System Manager installed and find the
attorney's user object. Open the properties and click on the "Exchange
General" tab. Click on the "Delivery Options" button. Confirm the secretary
is listed in the "Send on behalf" box.

Now that we have the correct permissions she should be able to send an email
as if she was the attorney. When she opens a new email in Outlook have her
go to the "View" menu and click on the "From field". She can now type the
attorney's name in the "From" box on the new message. She will need to
manually remove her auto signature from the email message.
