hi
I have a user here who has "send on behalf" permissions on another users
mailbox.
this was all working fine until sometime last week. now the "sent on behalf
of..." information doesnt appear on the mails sent by the user.

the mails are being sent on, just the "Sent on behalf of ..." info is missing.

she is using win xp sp3, Office 2003 SP3. her permissions seem to be ok.
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks
Damien

Hi Diane
Thanks for your quick reply.
for clarity ill name the accounts ceo and assistant.
under the ceo's email account, under Delivery options, the Assintant has
been giving "send on behalf" permissions.

Then Under secuirty for the Ceo account, the user has all the allow
permissions checked, except for "full Control" and "send as".

hope that makes sense?
when you say that the client might be hiding the "send as" would that be on
the assistants mail client and how would i rectify this?
Thanks again for your help.
Damien

Was it changed to Send As permissions? (Set on the other users account in
the AD).
Did you look at the mail header to confirm? The email client could be hiding
it.

So no send as and you're seeing this on the assistants computer? Can you do
a test send to an outside address (gmail or hotmail address you control) and
check the header to verify its not adding on behalf.

Hi Diane
I got the assistant to send me a test mail to my gmail from the ceo's account.
Its still the same, it shows that it's from the Ceo and not from the
assistant on behalf of the ceo... nothing in the header either...

Thanks
