sending a large attachment

i was having difficulty when sending attachments like a wav mp3 or picture file
i read in outlook express that i should break apart the message
tools accounts properties advanced ...break apart messag
it worked. only thing is i like to use outlook for mail and outlook express for news
was this a coincidence? is there a comparable setting in outlook

Only if you're using Outlook 2000 in Internet Only Mode.
