"Send to" menu causes temporary freeze/doesn't operate

When the cursor hits the "send to" function, it hangs and doesn't complete
the task. After approx. 2 min., the computer is back to normal again. I was a
frequent user of this function and would like to resolve this issue.

frequent user of this function and would like to resolve this issue.

Open the %UserProfile%\SendTo folder and move all shortcuts to a temporary
folder. If the problem does not occur anymore, move the shortcuts step-by-
step back to that folder until you've found the culprit.

Thanks. Did this, and removed ALL shortcuts to a temp folder. The problem
occured even with NO shortcuts in the Send To folder. What now?

That's hard to find out from afar - anyway, you can move the shortcuts back
to the %UserProfile%\SendTo folder. This problem has been reported after
installing poor software eg. Norton/Symantec and Logitech driver software.
If there were such installations, remove that software. Otherwise, use the
System Restore tool. Good luck.
