send/receive Outlook XP

my office xp professional product does not send/receive when I start
outlook. I had office2k before and I configured it to allow this. How do I do
I make this happen? Thanks in advance for your help
 
You have to set up a schedule for automatic send/receive. Make sure it's not
less than every 5-10 minutes or it won't work right. Tools>Options>Mail
setup>send-receive button.
