send/receive - Operation failed

I am using outlook 2002 and Windows XP. When I hit the "send/receive" button
I get "operation failed" error message. The "send/receive" button worked
before but recently stopped working. However, I seem to be able to send and
receive based on my automatic settings. What do I do to get my
'send/receive" button working again?

Hi,
START | SEARCH | ALL FILES AND FOLDERS | SEARCH HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS

Search for OUTCMD.DAT and EXTEND.DAT and FRMCAHE.DAT

Rename all these file (f.e. type Outcmd.old)

Restart Outlook

If this not solve your problem, please create a new profile!
