Send/Receive not working automatically in Outlook 2007

Kolin Tregaskes

Hello,

It looks like the automated send/receive is not working. It sends any new
mail fine, it receives any new mail at startup fine but that's it. Nothing
is retrieved until I close down Outlook (which seems to get stuck in memory
and ends up with my closing it in Task Manager) and go back into Outlook.
Even pressing on the Send/Receive button doesn't do anything. I'm sure it
worked a one point.

Then tell us what you did to make it stop working. It works as expected on
all 3 machines where I have the beta installed. Tell us what you have set
for your send/receive settings.

That is the question. ;-)

I have send/receive as send immediately when connected, to include all my
accounts in F9, to check every 5 mins and included in F9 for offline.

When I view the Progress window nothing is moving, all my accounts are
listed as Processing.

It appears it is getting stuck when it checks a Gmail account. An ideas
why?

Does anyone have an ideas why Outlook 2007 gets stuck checking Gmail? I was
going to test Hotmail/MSN accounts later too.
