Send/Receive not starting automatically when opening Outlook

When I used to click the icon for Outlook 2007 e-mail, it would automatically
start to send/receive but since I installed Windows Mobile 6.1 it no longer
does that. I now have to click send/receive in the toolbar. How do I make
Outlook automatically send/receive. I have checked the send/receive settings
and I don't see anything that applies. Please advise.

The "Schedule an automatic send/receive every..." checkbox controls whether
or not Outlook will perform a send/receive when it starts and every xx
minutes thereafter.

When I first noticed the problem I checked that setting and the check mark
was in the box so I removed it. After reading your post I put the check mark
back in the box and now my e-mail is automatically sending/receiving. Thanks
