send/receive gets stuck on 62%

I just upgraded to office 2007, and it keeps getting stuck at 62%...
sometimes it moves forward to complete the send/receive and then I can
read/send emails; however it often freezes and/or crashes. Sometimes it
restarts itself, sometimes not. Sometimes I need to restart multiple times
before it works. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get office to
work better?

You are not including any specifics in your post. Which errors are reported?

Verify that all your addins are Outlook 2007 compatible.

I'm not getting any error messages. When I open Outlook, it often gets stuck
on send/receive status 62%. I just checked the "details"... and it currently
saying syncronizing subscribed folders, but I'm not sure if thats the problem
when its frozen... when its frozen, I can't read the details.

Which mail account type are we talking about? If Outlook crashes there will
be an event reported in the Application Log of the Event Viewer.

Its IMAP - I'm getting my email from my university server. It occasionally
"crashes"... more often it just freezes, and when I click on it, it reads
"not responding"... so I close it down and then restart. More often than
not, this is what happens. Eventually, it will open normally.

Did you recreate your mail profile after upgrading? It is highly recommended
to do this when you switch versions.

Yeah, I recreated my mail profile... I deleted the old and recreated it in
the new program.
