Send/Receive fax without a modem?

Hi
I'd like to send/receive faxes from my computer (XP SP2, no internal modem).
I don't want to buy a new fax-modem since I'm only interested in fax
transfers (I'm connected to internet via adsl router device). Is there any
other option out there to send/receive faxes, other than purchase a
fax-modem? Thanks

Faxes don't work with a DSL modem, it is not the same thing as a fax modem.
Your choices are to either get a fax modem, or search google.com for
"internet fax service" for an alternative.

Your choices are to either get a fax modem, or search google.com for
"internet fax service" for an alternative.

Or the OP could just go out and buy a regular Fax machine and hook it
up to the phone line.
