Send/Receive Errors

Whenever I press the SEND/RECEIVE button I get the Outlook 2002 error dialog
"Operation Failed." I also get this error when going to TOOLS/ OPTIONS/
MAIL SETUP tab and press the Send/Receive button to confirgure our options.
I'm not sure what is broken, but our e-mail accounts seem to automatically
receive and send mail fine without using the Send\Receive button. The
problem is that we cannot configure the options if we cannot get to them.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how we can troubleshoot or repair the
Send\Receive option in Outlook 2002?

What mail account are you using ex yahoo, gmail etc..?

Hello Mateusz,

Generally speaking, we are using Microsoft Hotmail and MSN Premium accounts,
which are HTTP accounts. We also use a few POP3 accounts. We have never
had a problem with this. However, I have noted recently that our Hotmail
account termintes its connection when downloading larger e-mail attachments.
Other than that, this is the only problem we have experienced. It is
especially perplexing that we cannot access the setup, let alone perform the
task.
