Send Object Macro

I have the following macro to send an object via email: Send Object - Report
- Rich Text Format.

I have one user that when he selects this command, it produces an Excel file
and it is unreadable. All others have no problem and the file is sent in .rtf

Any help will be appreciated.

Create a very simple report and try to export to Excel..you will find it is
reasonably good.

Complex reports, however, (esp. w/ heavy duty formatting) will never export
to Excel in a clean way.

If you want to spend a lot of time, automation code may improve things a
bit..

Karen,

Do you mean that the SendObject action attaches a file to the email with
a .xls filename extension? This is very odd, of course. Is this
exactly the same database application file that is being used by other
users to export to rtf format? What happens if you change the filename
of the exported report from .xls to .rtf, and then try and open it in Word?

Yes, it is the same database and yes, it attaches a files to the email with a
..xls filename extension. The name of the file is also different that the
report name in the database. I did open the file from the email using word,
and it looked fine. It is odd that this is only happening to this user.
Also, we use Lotus Notes.
