Dr. Indera

hello,

when i select this option in internet explorer, i was expecting the link of
the web page that i want to send to appear in the body of the email.
instead, it shows up as an attachment. what option do i need to change so
that the link will appear in the body of the email? if it helps, i am using
outlook express 6.

thank you
indera

Here is the best way to send a link:

Copy (Ctrl + C) full URL in your in your Address bar, and then paste (Ctrl + V) it in message body. Like this:
http://www.fixyourwindows.com/optimizewindows.htm

P.S. Many mail servers (and mail clients) delete certain attachments to prevent client infection.

Hope this helps.

hi r,

i thought about manually pasting the link into the body of the email. it's
just annoying because this worked on my old laptop, but not this one, so i
thought there was a setting that wasn't correct.

Don't use the link on the File menu, use the right-click selection. This is
a workaround; it doesn't replace or fix File>Send or Mail (IE toolbar)>Send
a link, which is default behaviour in IE6-SP1.

oh, ok pa bear. i didn't know.
thank you.
