Send Error Report

Everytime I am in Internet Explorer, after browsing a few
pages the Send Error Report comes up and forces IE to
close. This problem is very frustrating and I need to
know how to fix this.

What's the error? In the meantime you might want to scan the system for
spyware/adware/trojans.

Run these programs to check for spyware/malware. After installing
update them, then boot into safe mode and run them. You should update
and run them weekly.

After your system is clean use these programs to help keep it clean:

Spywareguard

IE-SPYAD

Make sure you have a firewall active at all times. If nothing else use
the one built into XP, but there are a variety of free third party ones
that do a better job from Sygate, Zone Alarm or Kerio.

Just a second Kurt I'll fire up the crystal ball. While it's warming up maybe you could tell us what the error report says or at the very least a number so we have a direction to look at. }:~)

Welcome to the club.. I get this alot.. Usually, it's the mshtml.dll file as the faulting module, with a little of ntdll.dll thrown in to confuse me.. I decided to take the chance and paid the $39 to talk to microsoft support and they COULD'NT HELP.. Althought it was kinda fun re-registering a bunch of dll's.. anyway, i got a followup message from the tech guy in nova scotia telling me to wait for the sevice pack due next month.. GREAT!! WOW!!

no spyware or trojenz in my 'puter either.. :{(

A shame you spent the money. IE has many dll's that become unregistered or corrupt and it's simply a matter of reregistering them which is rather simple. Here are a list of known dll's with this issue and ones you can attempt to register to repair IE.
go>start\run and type in regsvr32 urlmon.dll (make sure the space is after regsvr32)
mshtml.dll
shell32.dll
upnhisapi.dll
msvcrt.dll
actxprxy.dll
cmds21.dll
msctf.dll
softpub.dll
sendmail.dll
msjava.dll
oleaut32.dll
browseui.dll
As you did not specify the exact module causing your issue simply try all of them and see if that resolves your issue. These dll's cover everything from fixing the mail sending in IE to repairing the URL function. Have fun {:~)

try to Right click >my computer
properties
advanced
error reporting
disable error reporting
OR try >start >control panel >internet options >advanced
and check disable script debuging
also uncheck display a notification about every script
error

When certain errors occur with error reporting enabled the system will
send areport to MS detailing the situation which they can use to work
out fixes to issues. Rarely do they ever get back to the user with a
suggested resolution though it does happen occasionally. Turning off
the feature really shouldn't impact your situation because it has
nothing to do with the cause of the errors.

Thanks, i thought so.. I was hoping maybe there was some bug I wasn't aware of about that. For example, one thing somebody told me was to disable "3rd party extensions" in the the advanced section of properties.. Did'nt help..
