Send email to many recepients

Hallo,
I have two groups of email.
The council and the members.
I have two questions.
1. How can I send an email to a group and in the To: fileld will appear the
name of the group (i.e.: members)?
2. How can I send an email to a group and in the To: field will appear the
name of it's member in it's individual email?
Are these possible with Outlook?
Thanks for any answer.
:)

AFAIK, can't be done.
2. How can I send an email to a group and in the To: field will appear the
name of it's member in it's individual email?
This would require a mail merge with Word.

Thanks for the links.
Although, I am curious.
Why do I have to use word to send an email?
Why isn't this option avaliable also in Outlook?
I am just wondering!

You don't have to use Word to send an email message, but if you want to send a mass mailing that generates an individual message to each recipient, Word mail merge is the tool in Office that does that.

Actually, I want to send the same email to many recipients and it's recipient
to have only his email address in the To: field.
How can I do this with Outlook, without using Word?

Outlook can't do that. The closest Outlook can come is to support messages with all the addresses in the Bcc field, but that doesn't guarantee that each recipient will see their own address in the To field. Again, you need to use Word's mail merge feature to accomplish what you want to do.
