send email to all in global catalog

Is there another or better way of sending an email to all addresses in the
global catalog other than clicking 'To' and then hilighting all the names? Is
there a built in distribution group somewhere that gets updated as new
addresses are added or deleted?

Thanks !!

In the Global Address List look for DL or DLS all email users - or something
similar. If there isn't one, perhaps no distribution lists have been created.

Thanks for the response. Are you saying that a DL needs to created and show
up in the Global Address List? How is this done? Does it need to be
maintained manually?
Thanks again.

In an Exchange setting, the Exchange admin would need to create a Global DL for all addresses. Depending on the version of Exchange, it is easily accomplished. The Exchange admin can also create custom groups as well.

Thanks, that is exactly what I want to accomplish. I have Exchange 2003 and
for the life of me, I can't figure out how to create a Global DL for all
addresses. Can you pass onto me the instructions?? Thanks

An Exchange group would be a better place to post this. microsoft.public.exchange.admin is a good one.
