Send email from Excel 2007 Error

Hello,
When I try to send a workbook via email from Excel 2007 I receive the
following error message:

"cannot load the mail service. check your mail installation"

I found a document that refers to Office 97 in the knowledgebase but the
registry key it refers to does not exist in my registry.

Office diagnostics does not find any problems and Outlook itself appears to
be OK.

Any ideas on where to begin looking?

Thanks,
Brent

Any solution to this issue. I have it on my system (running 2007, upgraded
from 2003 a while ago, running on Windows Server 2003 with latest
SPs/hotfixes via MS updates)

I'm having the same prob here too. I haven't found the solution
either, but wanted to compare notes -- do you have the Windows Desktop
Search (ver 3.01) enabled for Outlook as its indexing/search agent,
and if so, is it working?

I told Outlook 2007 to go out and grab it when it asked me whether or
not to use it. It is installed but not functional from within Outlook.
However, I can search my Outlook items via the "standard" Desktop
Search bar so I know it is actively indexing the objects.

Call me crazy, but I suspect there is a correlation between the two
issues. If you could see if you have duplicate searching circumstances
within Outlook, it might help track this bugger down.
