Send e-mail on behalf of other with them getting replies

With Outlook 2002 I could send e-mail on behalf of another e-mail address
with them getting the replies.
Now with Outlook 2007 I get the replies which is not what I want. I
maintain a big address book and send out joint invitations with the host
(changes with the e-mail) getting the replies.

This has not changed in Outlook 2007. "Send on behalf of" and "Send As" are
permission settings which are controlled at the Exchange server level.
Contact your mail admin to check which type of permission you have on the
objects.

I am private user. It is a social network that I send e-mails (invitations
to joint events) on behalf of other chapters. So I do not have a mail admin
person.

I think I replied in the wrong area. I am a private user - I do this for a
large social network in BC on behalf of other chapters that are hosting a
joint event. I maintain the mailing list, but I don't want the replies. I
don't have a mail administrator.

Then it heavily depends on what you are actually doing and with which type
of mail account.
Post your exact steps to reproduce.

I use POP/SMTP -didn't change servers (shaw.ca - shaw cable DSL) In From Line
I put other chapters name - it comes up from 'my e-mail on behalf of their
e-mail'. With previous version of Outlook replies would go to the 'on behalf
of e-mail'. Now that part doesn't work. My husband build me a new computer.
Old Outlook didn't like VISTA but this feature still worked so got Office
Standard 2007 because I need Outlook for this particular feature. I have
been through all the settings several times. It does go out with the 'my
chapter name on behalf of other chapters name' okay. Just the reply part
doesn't work the same.
