When I click on the 'send and receive all' button the Windows Mail returns a
'Some errors occured while processing the requested tasks. Please review the
list of errors below' etc. But the 'errors' tab is blank!
I can get my email by clicking on the 'receive all' option but it's
iritating doing this all the time. The mail is also sent without problem.
Wassup!

I saw a similar problem caused by my last antivirus program. What if
any antivirus programs do you have, and have you ever had a Norton
or McAfee antivirus program on that computer?

I did, by replacing my Norton antivirus program with avast!.
McAfee is known to cause similar problems, and just disabling
part or all of it seldom helps. You usually have to uninstall it
instead, then run this cleanup program to take care of what
the uninstall often leaves behind:

You may even need to remove your email account under
Windows Mail, then restart Windows Mail and add the
account again.

If this cures your problem, you may want a replacement
antivirus program that doesn't cause such problems in
Windows Mail. Most versions of the Norton and McAfee
antivirus program, and a recent version of the Trend
antivirus program, are bad choices since they often cause
even worse problems in Windows Mail. I recommend either
avast! or AVG, either one with a custom install where you
tell it to leave out the parts that scan email.

Geek Squad came out and removed my viruses from 6 mos. ago (for a hefty
