I had no problems sending things before but then suddenly out of no where I
can no longer send out email. I've check the setting, and test them on
another computer and they work. It would seem that windows mail sinply will
not send out the email, there is no error message.

So what happens when you try to send? Does the message move to and
stay in the Outbox or does it go into the Sent Items folder?

It goes to directly to my outbox and just stays there. I tried to click
send/receive button, but nothing happens. I then tried the Send all button,
and again nothing. I closed mail, got the message that there are unsent
items in my outboxs and if I would like to send them, I say yes.

When I open it again all the messages are still then in my in box. I have
made sure that all the server information is correct, but as I said up until
this weekend I was able to send things ok, it mysteriously just stopped
sending, but I still can receive

What if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them cause such
problems, although seldom immediately.

Go to the Outbox and move all the messages from there to the Drafts
folder. If there is one that can't be moved or deleted, use the Microsoft
fix: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although this may solve your immediate problem, it does not fix
the root cause. Chances are, you are running a non-compatible
antivirus such as McAfee or Norton.

There is no Anti Virus, and I turned off the Firewall, and I am still not
able to send

If you have a stuck message in the Outbox, first move any messages that you can
to the Drafts folder and then apply the following Microsoft fix for stuck
Windows Mail messages:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941090/en-us

Note: Although the title of the KB article says Outbox, the fix will also work
for stuck messages in other Windows Mail folders. Please run the fix with
Windows Mail closed. Also, download and install the appropriate file for your
Vista version (32-bit or 64-bit).

I am now getting the following message, which is far more that I was getting
before.

Subject 'sucks to be you... and....', Account: 'mail.reelfunfilmfest.com',
Server: 'shawmail.cg.shawcable.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '+OK
Messaging Multiplexor (Sun Java(tm) System Messaging Server 6.2-7.05 (built
Sep 5 2006))', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC60

Were you trying to send or receive when you got that error message?
In that error message (below), "Protocol: SMTP" does not jibe with "Port: 110".

Normally the outgoing (SMTP) server is on port 25, and the incoming (POP3)
server is on port 110. Make those corrections and try again.
