selective use of email account?

I would like to add multiple email accounts but be able
to pick and choose if/when they send/receive.
In other words i may have 5 accounts in my prfiles but
only want to check one on a regular basis. is there a way
to do this. without deleteing the 'unused' accounts?

Define your schedule mail settings so only the one account is enabled.

Tools -> Send/Receive Settings -> Define Send/Receive Groups
(for OL2002; you didn't mention your version)
