Is there a way I can edit the various auto-complete
lists? I'd prefer not to clear them all and start over,
but there are some items in the various lists that I'd
love to get rid of.
(I'm not a novice to computing - been programming on
mainframes for 30 years. Just "iggerant" of the files and
structures of Windows, IE, etc. I can handle an editor
just fine.)
Thanx

They are encrypted in the Registry but you can delete individual ones
from IE.
When they drop down as suggestions, move the highlight to the one you
don't want and press Delete.

Bruce,
Easier that you'd think for usernames, passwords, and search terms.

You can't delete individual URLs except from the TypedURLs list (registry
key.)

Thanx Alan! Duh! That "should" have been intuitive to me,
but I just never had thought to try it. - Bruce
