Seiko Smart Label printer usb question

Posed this question to Seiko support and their answer is barely
coherent, intelligible. Anyone know if an SLP 100 new printer can run
on a longer USB cord than the one Seiko provides which is probably 6
feet? Ideally I'd have a 10 foot or longer cord, by replacing the 6
foot one provided or extending the one provided.

Never tried it with mine, but probably. You could always use a USB repeater.
