I'm editing a large AVI file (1.6 Gigs Indeo Codec) in Movie Maker and
I notice that when I click on a clip to play, it'll take as
much as a minute before it begins playing the clip -- same
if I am already playing a clip and attempt to fast forward.
Is this normal? Why is there no hourglass pointer or any
indication that the application is thinking when this happens?
