In my 'add & remove programs' list today, I noticed a program I'd never seen
before. I searched all of XP, then the web, and cannot find anything about
it.
Name is "seekapp 1.0 build 125"
Can anyone tell me what it is, or if it's some spyware thing or virus? Don't
want to delete it and then have problems, but it looks suspicious.
Thanks so much!

Your machine is infected. seekapp.exe, seekappXXX.exe are detected by
SUPERAntiSpyware. Download the free edition at:

Try to remove it there followed by:

Download, install, run, update and perform a full scan (separately) with the
following two applications (freeware versions are the ones to use for this):

SuperAntiSpyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/

MalwareBytes
http://www.malwarebytes.com/

After performing a full scan with one and then the other and removing
whatever they both find completely, you may uninstall these products,
if you wish.

Reboot.
