Greetings,
I've been looking around on the MS KB trying to figure this one out, but
couldn't find the answer.
I've got a simple peer-to-peer network. Two PCs (one a desktop and one a
laptop) and two Macs (one a desktop and one a laptop).
If this isn't the right newsgroup, please let me know which one I should
post to.
So here's the issue: When I try to connect from my Mac laptop to my PC
desktop, I get a window on the Mac asking for my user name and password. I
just hit enter because I don't use a password on any of the computers. The
Mac then connects to the workgroup, but will only allow me to view the
Shared Folders. It shows me the one shared drive I have on the PC desktop,
but it doesn't let me look into it (in other words, it shows the folder,
but when I click on it, it's empty).
The drive I'm trying to access is shared. I tried turning off Zone Alarm
on the PC, but it still didn't work. Strangely enough, I'm able to view
the entire contents of the PC laptop with no trouble.
Any ideas?
