I have recently reloaded my pc completely and am now setting up Outlook
again. I've imported everything I need and set it up as I like it except for
viewing attachments after I've added them to an email.
I am using word as my editor (as before) but when I attach a file now it
puts it in to the middle of my message instead of placing it neatly in a line
above the body of the message like the subject line.
Any ideas how I can get this back?

It sounds like you are now working with Rich Text format instead of HTML.
Change format to HTML and the attachment will be at the top on a line.

To do this for all, in Outlook - go to Tools, Options, Mail Format - change
from Rich Text to HTML.

I work with Rich Text, then when there is an attachment, I change the format
to HTML. Should be a drop-down box on the same line as the send button to do
this. Hope this helps.
