Why does the server disconnect from time to time and what do I need to do
to fix it?

Sometimes due to a timeout on being connected without transferring any mail.

Sometimes because you need to start Windows Mail, then click on Tools,
then Options, then Connection. If there is no check mark in the box before
Ask before switching dial-up connections, click on this box, then Apply.
If there is a check mark in the box before Hang up after sending and
receiving, click on this box, then Apply. Click on OK.
